Sometimes, it is clear to us why we are upset. It is great when we can pinpoint that it is because of a break up, work load, a fight with a loved one etc.
When we understand why we are upset, we are usually able to give ourselves permission to feel whatever we feel about the situation more easily, like being sad or angry. This lets us move through the feelings and move forward, because we aren’t spending energy keeping those feelings stuffed away. This means we have more energy and resources to be present, live our values and connect with each other.
